Bells

The Western tower contains a single bell 17¼" in diameter, weighing some 112lb. It appears ‘modern’ in style probably from the late 18th century, and whilst uninscribed is amply supported on a timber frame with space for a further bell to be fitted.

The bell provides the hourly clock chime and has facility for a manual toll from a rope to below.

There is no indication that the bell came from the previous chapel although this had a small turret.
