It was transferred to the church in 1947 and installed by Hill, Norman & Beard Ltd.

Hill, Norman & Beard Ltd cleaned and restored the organ in 1975 and a fine oak screen was added around the console with hidden storage cupboards for music.

The organ was restored in 2010 by Aistrup & Hind of Lincoln.

It has been awarded an Historic Organ Certificate Grade I.
