Glass

The east window

Windows in the body of the church are of plain glass.

East window in stained glass. There are three lights:

Left-hand light

Top is 49 East Brigade HQ on site.

Middle is a Martello Tower of 117 Infrastructure Support Engineer Group.

Bottom is Royal Army Ordnance Corp crest from when it was Central Ordnance Depot.

Right-hand light

Top is Chilwell entwined Cs and a crest from days as Shell Filling in WW1.

Middle is Crest of the Mobilization Centre which prepares troops for going out on operations.

Bottom is the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers from the Second World War to when it became the Central Ordnance Depot (C O D) and they were the workshops for the armed vehicles and trucks.

Central light

Shows St George and has the Maltese cross at top.

Maker could be P and P (Pope and Parr) with right hand P reversed.
