Above the High Altar, an alabaster representation of the Last Supper by Nathaniel
Hitch. ‘It is considered to be an excellent copy of Leonardo da Vinci’s
famous altar piece’. (Church Guide).

Marble and stone, three panels, decorated with episodes from the life of Christ,
under ogee arches.
Font
 Marble and stone, heptagonal on two steps, elaborately decorated with seven
figures representing the Christian virtues: Faith, Truth, Purity, Industry,
Courage, Hope and Charity. Modern light oak cover with small brass plaque:
Treasured memories of Joe Worton 1897-1978
and his wife Elsie 1903-1990 |
