Chancel

There is an arched piscina in the south chancel wall and an aumbry in the north wall.

The wooden reredos was presented to the church by the parishioners in 1928. A brass plaque reads:

THIS REREDOS WAS DEDICATED
TO THE GLORY OF GOD
AND WAS PRESENTED TO
ST PETER'S CHURCH
BY THE PARISHIONERS, THROUGH
THE PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL
ON THE 15TH DAY OF APRIL 1928

Lectern

Pulpit

The brass eagle lectern and pulpit date from the late 19th century. There is a brass plaque on the pulpit that reads:

To the Glory of God and in memory of
William Gleadall
who died Oct: 22 1881 aged 58 years
This pulpit is given by his wife Mary Ann Gleadall

 

South Aisle

Font Font canopy Piscina

The octagonal font has an elaborate 19th century canopy.

The south wall of the south aisle has an arched piscina.

North Aisle

Coffin fragment

The remains of 12th century ashlar coffin, formerly in the north aisle, have been moved to the west end of the churchyard.
