The churchyard is roughly rectangular and covers an area of 0.3 ha.

The church is located in the centre of the churchyard.

There are burials on all sides of the church.

The north boundary wall (on High Street) is of brick with stone coping. The main entrance is at the west end of the wall and has rusticated stone piers and iron gates. There is another entrance mid-way along the wall with stone gate piers and iron gates. The boundary walls on the west, east and south are of also of brick; the south wall incorporates the walls of outbuildings of Church Farm along part of its length.
