Monuments and Memorials

Faculties and other records show that at least two memorials were erected in the church. Both were installed in 1927:

A plaque on the wall of the south aisle:

In memory of the former verger of 23 years

George Booth
died August 1927

A brass tablet on the east wall:

This tablet and pulpit are erected to the Glory of God
And in grateful memory of the Rev. Arthur Barrel
Good first vicar of this Parish from 1896 to 1918 who
Died 20th August 1925 aged 74 years. By his effort
this Church was built, also the Vicarage house and the
Parish Hall, everything being left free of debt.
