Sneinton
St Alban

Churchyard

The building of St Alban’s church currently occupies its entire site with the parish rooms and the vestry rising alongside Bond Street on the south side, the west wall abutting the pavement on West Street, the north wall rising alongside a wide tarmacked gated footpath, and the east wall also adjoining a footpath, with cast iron bollards at the Bond Street end and an iron gate with the pathway extended to serve blocks of council properties. This old footpath originally connected Sneinton Road with Bond Street, South Street and North Street. The church never had a churchyard or burial ground, nor is there any evidence of burials within the church.
