Weston All Saints

Clock

According to an information plaque in the church the clock, by I. Hallifax of Barnsley, was originally installed at Thoresby Hall in 1740. When Earl Manvers had the hall demolished in 1870 he donated the clock to Weston village and it was restored and installed in the church tower by G. W. Cope of Nottingham the following year.

The village had the clock restored and re-gilded in 1977 to commemorate the Queen's Silver Jubilee.
