The building is designed in the Early English architectural style and is of stone construction throughout, the interior walls being plastered. It consists of a chancel with an apsidal end, a nave of four bays with clerestory over, and corresponding wide north and south aisles. On the north side of the chancel there is an organ chamber and on the south side a clergy vestry.
