War Memorial

On the west wall of the south porch is a bronze war memorial commemorating the 39 men of Aspley who did not return from World War II. In each corner it is decorated with a flower and on the top is a crucifix enclosed within a wreath.

The inscription reads:

THE TOWER CLOCK
IN THIS CHURCH WAS DEDICATED
ON SUNDAY MAY 24TH 1953
IN MEMORY OF THE MEN
OF THIS PARISH
WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR
1939 ~ 1945
