Cinderhill Christ ChurchChurchyard
The area of the churchyard is 2 roods 18 perches. There have never been any
burials. The boundary along Nuthall Road is formed by a Bulwell stone wall
in which is set a pair of 6ft high iron gates suspended from stone piers with
pyramid tops. There are mature deciduous trees along the east, west and south
boundaries with an additional wood panel fence to the south. A privet hedge
separates the north edge from the vicarage garden. There is a raised grass
bank to the west, two magnolia trees near the south side of the building and
mature shrubs and heathers near the church wall. The church is surrounded by
a metalled path wide enough for cars, with grassed areas on either side of
it. In front of the choir vestry is a gravelled forecourt.
