1-3. There are three stained glass windows in the chancel, in memory of the Parkinson and Milward families. The stained glass is by Wailes (1808-1881) of Newcastle and very characteristic of his work. It was installed in 1862. White's Nottinghamshire directory of 1864 notes that 'the chancel contains three beautiful windows, the centre one being erected by the Rev and Mrs Audes [Awdes], in memory of the late Mr and Mrs Parkinson of Ley Fields, the other two were erected by Thomas Parkinson, Esq in memory of the late Richard Milward, Esq [1784-1844] and Miss Frances Milward of Hexgreave Park [1857-1875]'.
