The bell

There is a western stone turret containing one bell. It is inscribed with the following:

J Taylor & Co. Founders

It is 17” in diameter and weighs 1.0.5.

The bell was recast in 1954.

It replaced one cast by Taylors in 1877. This former bell was 16.975” in diameter and weighed 1.0.16.
