Archaeology

No known details survive relating to the church structure though it appears to have been an iron church, constructed from prefabricated materials. Historic mapping indicates that it was a single-celled structure with a central south entrance porch; by 1962 an ancillary structure had been added at the north-west corner of the north side.

Prior to its construction the site was an agricultural field.
