The organ was bought in 1905. It cost £252 which
was raised by subscription. Mrs Cordeax had it properly
built, enlarged and placed on the south side of the chancel.
On the east side of the organ are two
brass plates with the following inscriptions:
This organ was rebuilt and enlarged AD 1916
to the glory of God and in loving memory of
Robert Harry Cordeax of Bunny Park who
Entered into rest August 18th 1915 aged 51 years
and his only son Edward Henry Noble Cordeaux
Lieut 7th Sherwood Foresters who fell in action
Near Ypres September 30th 1915 aged 19 years |
