Carlton St Michael

Glass

East window

The only information retrieved regarding the glass is that the tracery of the east window was very elaborate and, most unusually, it was made of wood. It appears to have been quite large with five flat top lights at the bottom, four trefoil headed lights above and a split centre light; ornate tracery rose into the pointed arch completing the window. It also appears to have been glazed with patterned leaded lights.

The other windows including the tracery were all made of wood.
