War Memorial

Although the church was active before and after World War I, no evidence of a war memorial being installed was found. With the paucity of housing in the immediate surroundings of the church, there may have been very few local men serving in the Forces. It is also likely that if there were casualties their details may have been included on the memorial located in St Paul’s Church in Carlton (the mother church of St Michael and All Angels) where two plaques list a total of 104 casualties.
