Flawford St PeterStonework
The church is said to have been built of Bulwell and Cresswell limestone, together with rubble of local sandstone and skerry. It was roofed mainly with Charnwood slates, some re-used from the Romano-British villa. The building was 138ft long. The width across the nave and aisles was 52ft, and the external width of the chancel 25ft.
