Lady Bay All Hallows

Organ

The organ was built by E. Wragg and Sons of Nottingham and cost £650. It was dedicated by the Archdeacon of Nottingham on 21 September 1932. The organ was overhauled by Groves in 1979.

The specifications are available on the National Pipe Organ Register website.

The original organ at Lady Bay Church was built by Eliott of London in the early 19th century and purchased from Emmanuel church, Nottingham in 1903 for £50. Eric Terry, a member of the congregation who first started Sunday School at Lady Bay in 1919, noted that it was a handblown organ and the person operating the pump was hidden from the congregation by a cushion.
