Bells

A single bell is hung on an iron cantilevered frame under a projecting section of the roof over the west gable, partially concealed by the 1960 extension.

It is recorded as weighing 0.5 cwt (56 pounds) with a 12” waist circumference.

The inscription on the bell states:

The maker was Taylor & Co. of Loughborough and it dates from 1800. The bell predates the church by nearly 130 years and has, therefore, come from an older building.
