The churchyard is roughly rectangular in shape and covers an area of 0.2 ha. The church in the centre and there are burials on all sides.
There is a stone boundary wall on the west and south sides of the churchyard and the main entrance is on the west (on Hawksworth Road) formed by a gateway with stone piers and wrought iron gate. A stone flagged path leads directly from the gate to the west door of the church. There are brick walls and buildings marking the eastern boundary.
