AFTER BEING GASSED
AUG. 21ST 1919,
AGED 28 YEARS.

IN AFFECTIONATE REMEMBRANCE

BORN NOVR 6TH 1887,
DIED JUNE 30TH 1917.
HE GAVE UP HIS LIFE IN THE SERVICE OF
HIS COUNTRY DURING THE EUROPEAN WAR.

BURIED IN FRANCE.

Private Kenneth W Newcombe of the Royal Army Medical Corps died between 29 May and 2 June 1940 at Dunkirk aged 21. He was the son of Thomas and Esther Newcombe, of Aslockton.

Sgt George Reveley, son of William and Elizabeth Reveley of Scarrington, died when his Lancaster Bomber was shot down near Berlin on 2 December 1943.
