A tablet on the north wall of the nave records all those villagers who gave their lives during the First World War.

In the west side of the churchyard there is a tall stone Celtic style cross with a dedication on two sides of the plinth which reads:
To the memory of the men of Colston Bassett who gave their lives in the Great war 1914-1919 |
and
I have fought the good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith. |
The other two faces of the plinth are inscribed with the names of those who died:
