Features and Fittings

These fittings were observed in the church prior to redundancy and conversion.

Two metal shields, hung on the west wall the south inscribed ‘I am with you alway’, and the north inscribed ‘Even unto the end’.

Font, located in the SW corner: a 19th century octagonal base and stem with a 16th century octagonal bowl above, adorned with panels of Arms. The timber cover appears to be 18th century timber cover with a turned knob.

Alms box: small, probably 20th century, hung to the east side of the south doorway.

Pulpit, cantered, with timber tracery and a stone base located at the east end towards the north side.

Plain wooden hymn board, hung facing west in the centre window of the south wall.

Reredos on the east wall behind the Communion Table, material unknown, inscribed ‘Do this in remembrance of ME’.
