The churchyard is large and roughly rectangular in shape. It covers an area of 0.9 hectares (2.2 acres).
The church is situated in the northern part of the churchyard and is surrounded by graves on all sides.
Burials surrounding the church are largely of the 18th and 19th centuries
with a variety of monument forms. A modern burial area is located to the south-east of the churchyard, accessed by a wide path leading from the south porch.
There are mature trees scattered throughout the churchyard.
The boundaries to the south, east, and west are of hedges, and to the north a low stone wall.
