A brass plaque near the west window reads:

IN MEMORY OF
GRACE HARCOURT VERNON
DIED MARCH 9TH 1881

Grace was the wife of Edward Evelyn Harcourt Vernon, the son of the Rev Evelyn Hardolph Harcourt Vernon, rector of Grove 1846-1859 and 1873-1883. She died in Yorkville, near Toronto, in Canada a few days after the birth of a son.

It was produced by Burlison and Grylls and installed in 1882.

The stained glass has deteriorated badly over the years.
