Underwood St Michael and All AngelsOrgan
The organ is located under an arch in the south wall of the chancel. It is encased within a pair of panelled doors with matching panelling on both sides and above. The decorated organ pipes extend above and the room at the rear is largely given to house the blower and other working parts of the organ. The room is also used for storage and is accessible via a door at the side of the organ and another at the east end of the south aisle.
After much energetic fundraising by the curate, the Rev H. Lilley, the organ was purchased for £240 and was opened by the Bishop of Southwell on 14 September 1896. Prior to the new organ being installed a harmonium had been used to lead the singing.
