The inscription reads:

Also on the north side (to the west) are two stone wall plaques, both bearing coloured arms at the top.

Chancel, a small brass plaque:
TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN THANKFULNESS FOR THE MEMORY OF JOSEPH PROCTOR RUSSELL THE SANCTUARY CARPET WAS GIVEN BY HIS WIFE WINIFRED MARY RUSSELL. A.D. 1936. |
On the centre of the wall is a metal plaque within a wooden surround bearing the inscription:

In the base of the tower, to the left of the entrance doorway, is a brass plaque stating when and by whom the clock was given.
