Bestwood Village St Mark

War Memorial

War Memorial 1914-1919

On the north wall of the church is a War Memorial which contains sixteen names including three of the Lancaster family who were the owners of the Bestwood Coal and Iron Company. This war memorial was unveiled on the 17th July 1921 by Lord Osborne Beauclerk.
