Burton Joyce St HelenOrgan
The former organ was on the north side of the chancel. It was built by Lloyd and Dudgeon of Nottingham at a cost of £160 in 1879. By 1957 it was in a very bad state and was rebuilt by Wragge of Nottingham. The specification of that organ was: Pedal:Bourdon 16' Great:Open Diapason 8' Swell:Open Diapason 8' This has recently been replaced by a new pipe organ by Principal Pipe Organs of York. The inaugural recital was on 18 March 2006, given by John Keys from St Mary’s Nottingham. The specification of the new 2005 organ is: Pedal:Bourdon 16' Great:Open Diapason 8' Swell:Viola 8' |
