Gonalston St LaurenceOrgan
There are two treadle-pumped organs in St Laurence’s. One is located
under the filled arch on the north side of the chancel. It is inaccessible
and has not been used for some time. It has a manufacturer’s
name-plate: T.B. Church Organ Company; Norfolk, Ohio inscribed in gold lettering
between the single keyboard and the twelve named stops.

The second instrument is located beneath the west window. It sits on a slightly
raised wooden floor, and is a little larger than the above. Like the above
it is also of American origin being manufactured by Cornish and Company, Washington,
New Jersey, USA. The single manual is surmounted by fourteen drawstops.
This latter instrument was still regularly used for services in 2009.
