Chancel

At the east end of the chancel there is a panelled oak reredos with cresting. An inscription on the reredos reads:

IS GIVEN BY
GEORGE SHREWSBURY
SMITH
TO THE GLORY OF GOD
AND IN MEMORY OF HIS
DEARLY LOVED WIFE
CONSTANCE ETHEL
ENTERED INTO REST
APRIL 3 1928

Piscina in
the chancel

There is a 13th century piscina with pointed trefoil head in the south-east corner of the chancel.

Font

Font Pulpit

According to the listing description there is a 're-tooled C14 font with traceried panelled octagonal stem and octagonal bowl with foliate panels.'

A 'Green Man' has recently been identified in the decoration on the font.

Pulpit

The octagonal traceried panelled ashlar pulpit has a brass and iron handrail.

A brass tablet behind the pulpit reads:

Erected by the parishioners of
Hayton-with-Tilne and other
friends in loving remembrance of
Alfred James Showell, B.A.
2 years Vicar of this Parish
Departed this life June 27th 1909.

South Aisle

Lectern

Lectern Piscina in the south aisle

The carved timber eagle lectern dates from the 19th century.

On the south wall of the south aisle is a 19th century pointed arched piscina.
