The 'L-shaped' churchyard covers an area of 0.2 ha with the church located in the centre of the southern part. There are burials on all sides of the church. The northern section of the churchyard was originally occupied by a schoolroom but this was demolished and a new school (now the village community centre) was built on a plot of land further north. The churchyard was subsequently extended and was consecrated by the Bishop of Lincoln on 17 October 1860.
There are gates at the south-west and south-east corners of the churchyard with an asphalt path linking them to the south porch, the main entrance to the church.
The boundary wall on the south, west and east (for about half its length) is of stone; the remainder of the east wall is made of brick with stone coping. The wall marking the boundary between the churchyard and the bungalow to the north on Middle Street is partly of wooden panels and partly of brick with stone coping.
There are mature trees in the northern part of the churchyard and alongside the south and west walls.
