The east window is filled with stained glass, by W. Worrell and Co., of London, representing the four apostles, St. Matthew, St. Mark, St. Luke, and St. John. Along the bottom of the window runs the inscription:
IN LOVING MEMORY OF REVD W
THORPE M.A. 16 YEARS VICAR OF THIS
PARISH AND ANNE HIS WIFE FROM FOUR
OF THEIR DAUGHTERS OCTR 4 1886 |
There is also a brass tablet on the north jamb of the chancel arch with an inscription that reads:
ON THE RESTORATION OF THIS CHURCH 1886,
THE EAST WINDOW WAS REBUILT BY FOUR
OF THEIR DAUGHTERS IN LOVING MEMORY OF
THE REVD W. THORPE M.A. 12 ¾ YEARS VICAR OF
THIS PARISH & ANNE HIS WIFE, MUCH BELOVED.

The stained glass in the west window was installed as part of the restoration work following the lightning strike in September 1893.
A brass tablet nearby reads:
TO THE GLORY OF GOD
AND IN MEMORY OF
ROBERT AND SUSANNAH LAW
OF THIS PARISH
THIS WINDOW IS DEDICATED BY MEMBERS
OF THEIR FAMILY, JUNE 26TH 1894. |
