There is a plaque on the south wall of nave, beneath the War
Memorial window. The names are listed on the central portion of high
quality amber-coloured alabaster, surrounded by grey slate. Carved by F S
Birch of Bulwell.
THIS WINDOW IS ERECTED TO THE GLORY OF GOD
AND IN EVER LOVING MEMORY OF THOSE BRAVE MEN OF
NUTHALL
WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR KING AND COUNTRY
IN THE GREAT WAR OF 1914 - 1918
IN THE CAUSE OF JUSTICE AND FREEDOM.

N.B. The last named, Mary Lord, was the only civilian in the parish killed
by an enemy bomb, which failed to explode, on the night of 30th of August 1940.
The bomb fell in Allandene Avenue.
The reredos was commissioned from B Dorrington and Son, Heanor.
