    East window designed by Charles Kempe is considered one of his finest works.
    It is made up of three main lights and a number of small tracery lights;
    the three main lights depicting, north to south:
 St Peter

  2Chancel south wall,
    four single windows: These four lancet windows designed by Charles Kempe and bearing his wheatsheaf
    insignia were installed between 1897 and 1905, gradually replacing the small-paned
    clear glass of Ewan Christian’s alterations c1877-8. (The four windows
    on the north side of the chancel remain from the 1877-8 period). They depict,
    west to east:
