The church is located at the southern edge of the old village.

The churchyard is roughly rectangular in shape and covers an area of 0.3 ha.

The northern boundary is a low stone wall, interrupted in the centre by the extension built in 1972. On the east, south and west the boundaries are mesh and metal fencing, hedges and mature trees. The main entrance is in the north-east corner of the churchyard.

The burials are located on the south side of the church. The oldest legible grave marker is for William Cook who died 5 March 1739 aged 51.
