East Window
The stained glass window has deteriorated badly.
A decorative brass plaque on the north wall of the chancel states:
IN MEMORY OF LOUISE BLANCHE THE BELOVED WIFE OF CECIL GEORGE
SAVILE FOLJAMBE OF COCKGLODE AND ELDEST DAUR OF FREDERICK JOHN
AND LADY FANNY HOWARD, SHE DIED 7 OCT. 1871 AGED 29, AND IS LAID
WITH HER 2ND SON IN THE VAULT AT SCOFTON, NOTTS. THE EAST WINDOW OF
THIS CHURCH IS ERECTED BY HER SORROWING HUSBAND. |
West Window
The window depicts 'The Sower' in the left light and Ruth in the right one. The inscription at the foot of the window reads:
To the Glory of God and
in Sacred Memory of
My Parents John and Jane Field |
