Holy Trinity

Clock

Holy Trinity did not have a public clock but the tower was built to house one, evidenced a by a large, blind roundel on each face just above the apex level of the nave roof. In the church records an undated entry, but from the accompanying papers from the latter part of the 19th century, records that the Tower Clock Fund was to be closed due to the failure of the scheme and the balance of £313 transferred to the school fund.
