The organ c1932 The organ in 2008

Currently there is no organ installed in St Alban’s Church. However, a photograph published in the St Alban’s jubilee booklet of 1932 shows a large organ set under the arch at the east end of the north aisle. This arch now serves as the entrance to the Lady Chapel which was opened in 1898.

A photograph taken in 2008 shows that the organ had been partially dismantled. Conversation with a current member of the Ukrainian Church revealed that he recalled an organ being removed several years ago, but he could not remember the date.
