World War
The First World War memorial measures 4' by 21". It is a brass plaque on oak
with small brass flower holders and a wooden sconce with candles on either
side. It was erected in 1920. The inscription reads:
TO THE
GREATER GLORY OF GOD
AND IN MEMORY OF THE
MEN OF THIS PARISH WHO FELL
IN THE GREAT WAR.

Second World War
There is a Roll of Honour in a frame on the west wall. It reads:
ROLL OF HONOUR.
MEN AND WOMEN OF THE PARISH OF TYTHBY WITH CROPWELL BUTLER WHO SERVED
IN THE WORLD WAR 1939-1945.
WITH GRATITUDE TO THOSE WHO SERVED AND IN MEMORY OF THOSE WHO LAID
DOWN THEIR LIVES.
