1.Chancel north wall

Window in memory of Mary (died 2 March 1929), wife of John Carnell, a curate of the joint parishes in the latter part of 19th century. It depicts the first Easter morning, after a painting by Alex Ender, and is by Pope & Parr of Nottingham. The window was unveiled by the rector, the Rev N Wrigley, on 17 December 1937.

The damaged inscription reads:

In affectionate remembrance of Mary, who [for 51] years
was the devoted wife of John Carnell [of this] parish.

2.East window

Representation of the Resurrection, given in memory of Arthur Strutt (1842-1877) who was the son of Edward Strutt, 1st Baron Belper. The window is probably by Heaton, Butler and Bayne of London.

The Latin inscription reads:

IN MEMORIAM ARTURI STRUTT MORTE REPENTINA ABREPTI AN DOM 1877 SUAE 34 HOC MONUMENTUM POSUERUNT
AMICI MOERENTES

Translated it reads 'In memory of Arthur Strutt died suddenly. Taken in 1877 aged 34. His mourning friends set up this monument.'

Window representing the Last Supper, our Lord and St John, in memory of the Rev John Bateman, Rector from 1836 to 1882, erected by his children. The window is probably by Heaton, Butler and Bayne.

A brass plaque beneath the window reads:

IN LOVING MEMORY OF JOHN BATEMAN FOR FORTY-SIX YEARS RECTOR OF
EAST AND WEST LEAK WHO DIED MAY THE 2ND 1882 AGED 82 YEARS.
THIS WINDOW IS ERECTED BY HIS CHILDREN.

Modern window by Horace T Hincks of Nottingham c.1945-50, depicting country scenes, in memory of Sir Arthur Blake and members of his family.

A plaque beneath the window reads:

IN LOVING MEMORY OF
SIR ARTHUR ERNEST BLAKE, K.B.E.
OF WEST LEAKE MANOR
SOMETIME HIGH SHERIFF OF NOTTINGHAMSHIRE
DIED 25TH FEBRUARY, 1935, AGED 66 YEARS, AND
FLORENCE EMILY
HIS BELOVED WIFE DIED 21ST AUG., 1942, AGED 72 YRS.
ALSO THEIR CHILDREN
GEOFFREY STUART KILLED IN ACTION 5TH SEPT 1917, AGED 21 YRS.
ROBERT ANTHONY KILLED FLYING 22ND AUG., 1928, AGED 31 YEARS.
MARJORIE DIED 1ST DECEMBER, 1918, AGED 20 YRS.
THIS WINDOW IS DEDICATED BY OLIVE JOAN PEACOCK TO THE
TREASURED MEMORY OF HER PARENTS, BROTHERS AND SISTER.

Geoffrey was a Second-Lieutenant in the Royal Engineers and was killed in action on 5 September 1917 aged 21. He is buried in Villers-Faucon Communal Cemetery in France.

Robert was a member of the Nottingham Aero Club and died at Hucknall Aerodrome when the de Haviland Moth biplane he was piloting crashed and burst into flames on 22 August 1928. He is buried in Edwalton churchyard.

Window in memory of Amelia Harriet, Lady Belper, who died in 1890.

The stained glass displays scenes from Matthew Chapter 25.

A brass plaque beneath the window reads:

TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF AMELIA HARRIET, LADY BELPER, WHO
DIED DECEMBER 12TH 1899, THIS WINDOW IS ERECTED BY MANY OF HER OLD SERVANTS,
FRIENDS AND NEIGHBOURS IN GRATEFUL REMEMBRANCE OF MANY ACTS OF KINDNESS.
