tenor bell

winding conversion in 2000
In 1916 the Rev Wilkinson, writing to his successor, said that the mechanism
should be cleaned at least every four years. There had been a dispute with
some parishioners over the winding, and he had threatened to stop the clock
unless they agreed to pay.
