Churchyard

The churchyard is rectangular in shape with the church offset towards the eastern side. It measures approximately 0.3 ha in extent.

The church is approached from the main road, from which it is set back, to the west through double iron gates and along a hard standing path to the south side of the church. The boundaries all comprise hedges, shrubs, and a few mature trees. There are burials on all sides.

There are several fine examples of 'Belvoir Angel' carved grave-markers which date from the 18th century and were the creation of a local school of masons at that time.
