The churchyard is rectangular and covers an area of 0.4 ha. The mausoleum is located in the centre and there are burials on the south and east sides.
A low ashlar wall surmounted by spiked iron railings runs along the south, east and north boundaries of the churchyard; the western boundary is marked by an ashlar coped yellow brick wall. Access is provided by a double gateway in the south-west corner.
