War Memorial

The War Memorial is a marble tablet positioned on the south side of the east wall.

Wording:

To the Glory of God and in grateful and honoured memory of P.O. C. JARVIS, SEGT. J.G. WALLER, CPL. C.W. VOCE, PTE. S. COX, PTE. F. FOSTER, PTE. C. GILLIAT, PTE. L. SMITH, PTE. C. WILLOWS. Who laid down their lives in the Great Wars 1914-1919. 1939-1945. F/LT. C.C. FOX, D.F.M. SGT. J.W. GARLAND, PTE. W.A. RAISIN, SGT. T.K. DUDLEY, PTE. J.V. HIBBARD.

The memorial cost £25 and was unveiled at a special service on Thursday, 16th December 1920. The dedication was performed by Archdeacon Conybeare, who afterwards gave an address. The Last Post was sounded by one of the Boy Scouts.
