* From the calendar of the Patent Rolls June 3rd AD 1390, Richard 2nd , Pardon granted at Westminster at supplication of William Par, Knight, to Richard de Walehill, of South Muskham for the death of Patewyn, Vicar of South Muscham, killed there on Friday, the feast of Edmund the King. This occurrence may be connected with the troubles the Canons and Clergy of Southwell’s jurisdiction underwent for many years in connection with Wat Tyler’s movement.

** Honorary Canons of Southwell.
