| Upton St Peter and St Paul
StoneworkThe church is constructed of coursed, squared rubble, and dressed stone with ashlar dressings. The roofs are of plain tile. From the exterior, the effect of the restoration in the 19th century is clear – the original rubble construction of the tower contrasts in colour and texture with the ashlar of Maplebeck stone of the rebuilt nave and chancel walls. |
