Monuments and Memorials

Evidence of only one monument remains. A brass plate measuring approximately 12 x 8 inches. It was originally fixed to a screen given by the son of George Waterall in remembrance of his parents. It is dated 1898. Although the screen is said to have been removed to St Matthew’s Church in Bestwood it is no longer there. Only the brass plate remains now fixed to a panel in the side chapel:

HIS SON DEDICATES THIS SCREEN
